This month, our community comes together in moments of change and renewal—from buildings on Medway being removed , to an important vote, a community meeting, and more, shaping our shared path. Read on to find out... EF CBS - Community Members of EF CBS Vote on Asset Transfer 🔀 Community members of EF CBS will soon be invited to vote on resolutions concerning asset transfers from Findhorn Foundation Trust (FFT). These resolutions propose that EF CBS take on the Central Area West (CAW) and acquire a share in Findhorn Bay Holiday Park (FBHP) . The EF CBS Board is recommending these steps and has prepared a short paper explaining the background and rationale, which will be sent to our all our members directly, please be on the lookout. NB: Currently, EF CBS rules state that only 'community members' (those members who are resident in the settlement) have voting rights. Our 'contributing members' (those who live out-with the settlement) do not currently have voting rights. The EF CBS Board are in the process of proposing an amendment to our rules to members for the future. FFT Assets in Current Discussions Community Meeting – Legacy Organisations All community members are invited to a meeting in the Universal Hall on Thursday 26 February, 16.00–17.30 . NFA and the Collaboration Circle of organisationss (ColCi) will host the FF successor organisations participating in the FF Asset Transfer Talks (Park Ecovillage Trust, Findhorn Hinterland Trust, Ecovillage Findhorn CBS, Ekopia CBS and Findhorn Foundation SCIO) in an Open Community Meeting with updates and Q . Meeting Minutes 12 Jan 2026 Meeting Minutes 26 Jan 2026 Garden Group Restart! 🐛🪴🌻 A message from ET (Elisabeth Tonsberg): Hello dear people, This is an invitation for you, or for your office, to join the What’s App group we established in the Friends of Park Gdn. As we start up again, slowly in February, more times in March and fully in April and into the season, it might be helpful for you to know what’s going on so you can relate it to visitors and guests, to newcomers and returnees to the community and to whoever else you think it might be of interest to. If you wish, here’s the link and you can just join the group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/FSgb74NqOVB7BilUM93Ez3?mode=gi_t Medway Update 🏠 News from John Talbott (JT): We wanted to let everyone know that the Medway and Bookings buildings will taken down starting Monday 16th February . Two derelict caravans will also be removed from the Medway area at the same time. The work should only take a day or two at most. A little bit of history for those interested: the Medway building originally came from Buckie, where it was used as a temporary schoolroom. The other half of the building is still in use as the Pineridge Maintenance Shed . We were given it for free back in 1986 —just needed a team to dismantle it and move it on a flatbed truck to The Park. It’s done us proud for 40 years ! The maintenance shed is still going strong and is about to come alive again. Over the years it’s been an incredible space for building and maintenance projects. Its first big job was helping with the Community Centre extension in 1987 , hand-building all the windows and doors with tools kindly donated by a member—some of which are still in use today! Medway circa 1986 Celtic Wisdom Talks by JP Newell 🍀 Park resident JP Newell has generously shared his popular lectures on Celtic Wisdom in the Universal Hall. The talks were free, with donations for the Hall very welcome. Thanks to everyone who contributed, EF CBS has received around £1,030 for the Hall so far! There will be another series of talks in March . Huge gratitude to JP Newell for sharing his knowledge and supporting the community! May the light of the Snow Moon and the energy of Imbolc guide us in reflection, release, and renewal 🌕🌸. Let these updates inspire connection, clarity, and the blossoming of new possibilities within our community 🤝🌷.
