Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage, founded in 1997 in rural northeast Missouri, is an intentional community and sustainability demonstration project committed to living ecologically sustainable lives. The community operates under a comprehensive set of ecological covenants that govern resource use, energy consumption, and environmental impact. Members build natural homes, produce food organically, share vehicles and tools, and work to minimize their ecological footprint. Dancing Rabbit also functions as an educational center, hosting workshops, internships, and visitor programs to share knowledge about sustainable living.
